Terms and Conditions
By scheduling or receiving service from FireGuard Dryer & Vent Cleaning, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Scope of Services
FireGuard provides dryer vent cleaning and dryer appliance clean-out services. Services are limited to cleaning and removal of lint, debris, and blockages within accessible portions of the dryer and vent system. FireGuard does not perform repairs, alterations, or installation unless explicitly stated in writing.
Access and Service Conditions
The customer is responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the dryer and vent system. This includes:
Clear access to the dryer unit
Clear access to exterior vent termination
Restraining pets during the service appointment
Ensuring utilities (electric and/or gas) are active
If service cannot be completed due to access limitations, a service fee may still apply.
Pricing and Payment
Pricing is based on standard service conditions. Additional charges may apply for:
Excessively clogged systems
Roof or difficult-to-access vents
Longer-than-standard vent runs
Additional labor or time required
Any additional charges will be communicated before work is completed. Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in advance. Venmo, credit card, and check are accepted forms of payment.
Results Disclaimer
While FireGuard uses professional equipment and techniques to improve airflow and reduce fire risk, we do not guarantee complete removal of all debris in every system due to construction limitations or inaccessibility. Cleaning services are preventative in nature and do not eliminate all risk of dryer-related issues or fires.
Pre-Existing Conditions
FireGuard is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to:
Crushed, disconnected, or improperly installed vent lines
Hidden damage within walls, ceilings, or ductwork
Faulty or aging dryer appliances
If issues are identified during service, we will inform the customer and may recommend next steps.
Liability Limitation
FireGuard Dryer & Vent Cleaning is insured and will take reasonable care during all services. However, we are not liable for:
Damage resulting from pre-existing conditions
Issues caused by improper installation or prior repairs
Normal wear and tear of equipment or vent systems
In all cases, liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Appointment Cancellations and Rescheduling
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or last-minute cancellations may be subject to a fee.
Safety
FireGuard reserves the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are deemed unsafe, including but not limited to:
Hazardous environments
Aggressive animals
Unsafe roof or ladder access conditions
Photos and Documentation
FireGuard may take before and after photos of the service for documentation and customer reporting. These images will not include personally identifiable information and may be used for training or marketing purposes unless the customer requests otherwise.
Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for ongoing maintenance of their dryer and vent system following service. FireGuard recommends routine cleaning based on usage and manufacturer guidelines.
