Standard Dryer Vent Cleaning
The Standard service is designed to address lint buildup and airflow restriction in the dryer vent system, which are common contributors to dryer fires and poor dryer performance.
Standard service includes:
Full dryer vent clean out from the dryer connection to the exterior vent
Airflow test to assess vent performance
Camera inspection of the vent line where accessible
Inspection report summarizing findings and airflow status and providing safety observations
This service is appropriate for homes with routine maintenance needs, newer appliances, or situations where appliance level cleaning is not required.
Price: starts at $200
Full Dryer Vent and Appliance Cleaning
The Full service provides a more comprehensive evaluation and cleaning of both the dryer vent system and the dryer appliance itself. This service addresses lint accumulation inside the dryer cabinet and on internal components that are not visible during routine maintenance.
Full service includes:
Full dryer vent clean out from the dryer connection to the exterior vent
Dryer appliance clean out
Cleaning and inspection of the dryer connection hose
Airflow test to assess vent performance
Camera inspection of the vent line where accessible
Inspection report summarizing findings and airflow status and providing safety observations
This option is recommended for older dryers, homes with long or complex vent runs, or situations where fire risk reduction is a priority.
Price: starts at $250
Why Dryer Appliance Cleaning Matters
Even when homeowners clean the lint screen after every load, lint still accumulates inside the dryer appliance and vent system. Over time, lint can build up on internal components, including the heating element and fan, creating a serious fire hazard.
Lint buildup inside the dryer can:
Increase heat retention and overheating
Restrict airflow and reduce dryer efficiency
Accumulate on heating elements and motors
Compact around the dryer fan, further limiting airflow
Dryer appliance cleaning removes lint and debris from inside the dryer cabinet, around the heating element, motor, fan, exhaust port, and lint trap area. This improves airflow, supports safe operation, and reduces conditions that contribute to dryer fires.
This service is especially important for dryers that have never been professionally cleaned or have experienced long drying times, overheating, or recurring lint buildup.
